COVID-19 – KITCHEN USE

• ONLY ONE MEMBER AT A TIME TO ENTER KITCHEN AREA

• ALL DIRTY CUPS ETC TO BE WASHED OR PLACED IN DISHWASHER AFTER USE

• ALL SURFACES, DOOR HANDLES ETC TO BE WIPED DOWN/DISINFECTED AFTER USE

COVID–19 CLUBHOUSE GUIDANCE

• WASH/SANITISE YOUR HANDS ON ENTERING THE CLUBHOUSE

• SIGN IN/OUT WHEN ENTERING/LEAVING THE CLUBHOUSE

• MAXIMUM OF 4 MEMBERS PER TABLE

• SOCIAL DISTANCING (2M) TO BE MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES

• TABLE SURFACE TO BE DISINFECTED BEFORE AND AFTER USE

• ANY CUPS/GLASSES/UTENSILS USED TO BE RETURNED TO THE KITCHEN/BAR AND WASHED/PLACED IN MACHINE PRIOR TO DEPARTURE

• ALL KITCHEN/BAR SURFACES, DOOR HANDLES ETC TO BE DISINFECTED AFTER USE

• WASH/SANITISE YOUR HANDS BEFORE LEAVING THE CLUB


KEYNSHAM BOWLING CLUB

GUIDELINES TO BE FOLLOWED DURING PERIOD OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC


Key Points:

• Only members permitted to leave their household or have no medical restrictions should use the club

• If feeling unwell, DO NOT VISIT THE CLUB

• Rinks should be booked in advance by contacting Roger Price on 0117-9861184 or 0797-7665077 Do not play unless a rink booking has been confirmed

• Do not enter the Equipment Storeroom – you will find all required items to play in the Shed

• Members should bring with them any food or drink needed e.g. water

• Changing rooms are closed other than access to lockers, toilet areas are open. Come dressed to bowl and change shoes on a bench

• 2m social distancing rule to be strictly followed between both players and any spectators

• Maintain good handwashing and cough/sneezing hygiene

• Use of the club toilets should be kept to a minimum

• Only 3 rinks to be used at any one time, with one rink left empty between each rink in use

• No more than 4 members to a rink. A maximum of 12 persons to be on the Green at any one time

• Rinks will be set up for use in advance and left out. The Green’s Manager will change settings as necessary

• Mats and Jacks, together with hand gel and disinfectant wipes to be kept in the shed (unlocked)

• Scoreboard, poles etc are not to be used. The use of Pushers is permitted but must be cleaned before/after each use

• Sessions limited to 2 hours with 90 minutes play time

• Do not enter the Green until the previous players have vacated

• If entering the clubhouse, ensure clubhouse rules displayed are followed. Tables and chairs not to be moved.

• A maximum of 30 members permitted within the club property at any one time


Before a Game:

• Just prior to play, ensure hands are washed using soap/hand sanitiser gel provided

• Change into bowling shoes using a bench (not within changing room)

• Wipe down with antiseptic disinfectant/spray provided ALL equipment to be used including bowls, mats, jacks and pushers

• No shaking of hands/fist bumps to be permitted

• Scoreboards not be used but a single scorecard, retained by one player, can be used


During a Game:



• Maintain social distance of 2m between players. Care to be taken when deciding shots at the completion of each end

• Regular use of hand sanitiser provided as felt necessary

• Each player/pair to use a dedicated Jack, Mat & Pusher so as to reduce shared contact. i.e. one player/pair to use a red mat and yellow jack while the other player/pair will use
a black/white mat and white jack. Each player/pair to use their own pusher with use limited to one end of the rink irrespective of who has won shot.

• Measures and cloths not to be shared. Avoid measuring for shots unless necessary

• Be conscious of other club members wishing to use the Green and do not exceed the time allocated


After a Game:

• No shaking of hands permitted

• Before returning any equipment used to the shed, wipe down with antiseptic wipes/spray

• Wash hands thoroughly immediately after leaving the rink

• Dispose of dirty wipes or gloves into the bins provided

• If entering the clubhouse, please sign in/out as necessary and follow clubhouse rules provided

• If you are the last to leave the Club - wipe down padlocks, security key pad, door handles before locking up the club using wipes/gloves supplied
